December2019: The author, G. Gene Black, relocated from California back to Indiana where he continues a free book give-away to neighbors and freinds.
December 2018: The author's book promotion continues into its second year: Since December of 2016 the author has given books away to people he meets as a promotion for 'Piper'. The hard cover version of the book has done well this past year, seemingly to libraries and book stores, but paperback copy sales seems stagnated.
December 2017: The author's California book promotion continues past its' first year: Since December of 2016 the author has given about thirty to fifty books a month away to new people that he meets as a promotion for 'Piper'.
April 2017: Screenplay Piper is again presented as a musical within Ink Tip's spring magazine.
